Christine Cage knows what it means to rebuild. After incarceration, employment doors were closed, so she created her own opportunity. She built a property management and janitorial business, taught herself how to market it, and within months landed the SnowGlobe outdoor festival contract—work she maintained for nine years and continued after SnowGlobe was acquired by MTV.

Then she changed direction and built transitional housing and community services for formerly incarcerated people. Her work grew into a $1.3 million city contract. When that funding was later pulled, she kept showing up. Still Standing grew from that truth: losing something does not mean you failed.
